Summer has hit with full force here in my little part of the world. It was 100 degrees yesterday and when you factor in the humidity, it felt like a balmy 204. Ugh. My plants are doing well though and the kids are spending a lot of time in the pool. (I’m spending a lot of time in the house, where there is climate control.) Because I whined so much about being cold over the long winter months I promised my husband that I wouldn’t complain about the heat when it arrived. Mother Nature has made a liar out of me.
I’ve got my hands full this year writing more of my Uniformly Hot and Men Out of Uniform Books–love those military heroes!–and will be doing another Christmas anthology to mix things up a bit. That said, I will make time to attend the RWA conference in July in Orlando this year and, though it’s supposed to be about the business of writing, I’m planning on spending at least one full day at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Priorities, right? We’ve all got them.
As for what’s upcoming, look for THE RANGER, THE PRODIGAL and THE RENEGADE in June, July and August of ‘10. (The Prodigal is an anthology, but is connected to the other two books.) To round out the year, I’ll have another Christmas anthology out in December ‘10.
Hope your summer is off to a fine start with lots of fine books! Thanks so much for visiting my site!
